maven坐标中的version是必须的吗？有什么特殊情况是允许不写version的吗？
我见过一个开源项目，其中对插件的声明就没有提供version，我编译不过去，但开发者说是没问题的。相关代码如下：

不写version的是因为父工程里定义了插件。
父工程 dependencies 标签下的jar子工程全部都继承；
父工程 dependencyManagement 标签下的jar都是定义，子工程使用，不用描述version

用的是maven3，并且我贴的这段配置就是parent工程的，所以很不理解
